While some scientists are racking their brains over the mystery of whether there are extraterrestrial civilizations in the universe, others are confidently declaring that aliens are already among us. At least, this opinion was expressed by Professor Harry Nolan of Stanford University.

According to him, aliens have been on Earth for a long time and are still on our planet now. The details are reported by Fox News.

The SALT iConnections conference was held in New York, with a special focus on "The Pentagon, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and Crashed UFOs. It was on it that Professor Harry Nolan made bold statements. He claims that experts are currently "working on reverse engineering of unknown crashed ships."

When host Alex Klokus expressed doubts about the likelihood of aliens and asked the professor to quantify the probability that extraterrestrial life had visited Earth, the latter assured him that he was one hundred percent sure of it.

"I think it's an advanced form of intelligence that uses some kind of proxies. But that doesn't mean they walk among us in leather suits," Nolan noted.

It was comparable, he said, to the tribes of South America that first saw the Spanish ships. They didn't know what they were seeing, but it was something unusual.

"The most compelling evidence," Nolan says, "is the way the U.S. government has treated UAP -- unrecognizable anomalous phenomena or just UFOs – for the last few years.

Nolan noted that the Department of Defense has created an Office of Anomaly Resolution. In fact, it is charged with investigating possible UFO sightings. The Senate has even held public hearings (most recently on April 19) concerning new threats and possibilities for extraterrestrial civilizations. The professor added that he knows people who have worked or are working on reverse engineering programs for downed spacecraft.

Some of these aircraft were even videotaped - they performed maneuvers that contradicted all the laws of physics known to mankind.

It is worth noting, however, that during a Senate hearing on UFOs, AARO director Sean Kirkpatrick stated that there is no definitive proof of extraterrestrial life.

OBOZREVATEL previously reported that Earth received the first-ever signal from Mars, but it was not quite what everyone had hoped for.
