Hutsul banosh with cracklings, brynza and mushrooms: a simple recipe
Hutsul banosh is a bright dish, the basis of which is corn grits, and for a brighter flavor you need to add brynza and cracklings. You can also add fried mushrooms and sour cream.

Culinarian Yulia shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious Hutsul banosh with cracklings, mushrooms and brynza.
Ingredients:
- water - 0,5 l
- 20 % fat sour cream - 0,5 l
- corn grits - 250 g
- butter - 40 g
- salt - 1 tsp.
- bryndza
- fried mushrooms
Method of preparation:
1. Combine water and sour cream and cook over low heat, add salt.
2. As soon as the liquid begins to give off active steam, add in several steps, constantly stirring with a whisk or spatula to prevent the formation of lumps. Cook on low heat for up to 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. At the very end add the butter.
Serve the banoche hot. Sprinkle grated brynza on top or add cracklings or fried mushrooms.
