OBOZ.UA has found an ingenious and simple life hack that will help you quickly cope with this. You do not need to buy a special device for this, you will need an ingredient that is in every home.

Salt

After using the grinding stone, the knife should be placed in a saline solution. This method will help keep the kitchen utensils sharp for longer, but the main thing is not to overexpose the knife to the solution, as this can lead to metal corrosion.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of salt to one liter of water, stir everything thoroughly, and dip the knife into the mixture. Leave it for 15-30 minutes. Then take it out and wipe it with a cloth, and you can use the knife again for cooking.

OBOZ.UA also told you how to use salt to remove scratches on a frying pan. First, wash the pan with a soft sponge and dishwashing gel. Wipe it well and put it on the stove.

Next, pour table salt into the pan so that it covers the surface in a thin layer. The salt should warm up and change color, then you can turn off the stove. Wait for the pan to cool completely and remove any remaining salt with a paper towel.

This method will not only get rid of visible scratches, but also prevent further sticking of food during the cooking process.
