How to clean a burnt frying pan

A burnt pan will be a real challenge if you don't know about effective life hacks. Conventional dishwashing detergent will not help much, and the dishwasher is unlikely to cope with such serious contamination.

Affordable and eco-friendly household ingredients will come in handy. Kobieta Interia experts have told us how to clean a frying pan from dirt and burnt fat.

It only takes a few seconds of inattention and too high a temperature for black soot to appear in the pan.

If the dishwashing detergent didn't work, it's time to remember your grandmother's advice. Baking soda has long been used as an effective cleaner for stains and dirt. An effective paste can be prepared in just a few minutes.

  1. Pour a few tablespoons of baking soda into a small container.
  2. Dilute the baking soda with water to form a thick paste.
  3. You can also add a few drops of dishwashing detergent, which will dissolve grease.

Rub the paste thoroughly over the dirt and rinse off the abrasive particles with running water. Or rub the paste over the bottom of a pot or frying pan and leave it for several hours to allow the ingredients to work.

Vinegar will help with the most difficult dirt. Pour hot water into a container, add 4 tablespoons of vinegar and a little dishwashing detergent. Immerse the burnt pan in the solution, wait 5-10 minutes, and wipe the most soiled areas with the soft side of the sponge. Then wash the pan with dishwashing detergent and rinse it under running water.
