Grated cake in a new way: how to make a simple dessert in a delicious way
The easiest homemade dessert to make is grated pie. It can be made even by someone who absolutely does not know how to cook, because all you need to do is to make a successful shortbread dough and choose a delicious jam.
Culinarian Julia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious grated pie with a delicate sour cream filling.
Ingredients:
- yolks - 3 pcs.
- sugar - 70 g
- melted butter - 80 g
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- baking powder - 10 g
- flour - 210 g
For stuffing:
- whites - 3 pcs.
- sugar - 80 g
- sour cream - 400 g
- corn starch - 40 g
- salt - pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Whisk the yolks with the sugar. Add the butter and beat again, add the flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar, knead the dough. Divide the dough into two parts (the smaller and larger), wrap in clingfilm, put the smaller part in the freezer and the larger in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until frothy, add the sugar and beat until stiff. Add the starch and beat again with a mixer, then add the sour cream and mix everything with a spatula.
3. Grease the cake tin with butter and sprinkle with flour.
4. Roll out the larger piece of dough and cover the bottom of the mold with it, so that there is still a 1 cm rim. Pour the filling and sprinkle the raisins on top. Grate a second smaller piece of dough and sprinkle over the pie.
5. Bake for 35 minutes at 180 C.
