An over-the-counter remedy can quickly help get rid of mold in the house: how to use it
Mold in the house is a common problem faced by all homeowners. This unpleasant phenomenon not only disfigures the appearance of our home but also negatively affects our health.
Aggressive chemicals may not always be able to cope with mold, but hydrogen peroxide will not leave it a chance. OBOZREVATEL has found effective methods to help deal with it.
Peroxide is not only an antiseptic for wounds; it will become an indispensable cleaning tool.
To get rid of mold in the house, apply the product to the affected areas, and wipe with a brush to remove all dirt and fungus. Then wipe everything again with a damp cloth.
Peroxide can also be used to eliminate odors and bacteria in the refrigerator. Mix the solution with water in a one-to-one ratio and wipe the surfaces with a clean cloth. The mixture will not only remove all the dirt but also make the shelves shiny.
If the pots and pans have stubborn stains that cannot be removed with detergent, hydrogen peroxide will come in handy. Mix 1/3 teaspoon of peroxide with baking soda to make a thick paste. Apply this mixture to the dishes and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then wipe with a sponge and rinse under hot water.
Kitchen wooden boards should be cleaned regularly to remove all germs because wood is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. First, wash the boards with detergent, then spray them with hydrogen peroxide and dry them thoroughly.
Dishwashing sponges are the most likely to harbor harmful organisms. To disinfect them, mix hydrogen peroxide and water in a one-to-one ratio and soak the sponges for one hour. Then dry them in the fresh air.
Glass and mirrors often leave streaks after washing. Spray peroxide on the surface and then wipe it with a newspaper to make the glass shine.
Peroxide will also remove stains from clothes. Apply a little product to the desired areas and leave for 30 minutes, then wash by hand or with a washing machine.
