It's worth noting that the healthiest oatmeal, according to experts, is flattened oatmeal, which should be cooked for 10-15 minutes!
To give the dish an unusual flavor, you can add:
- Parmesan cheese
- mushrooms
- sun-dried tomatoes
- herbs
- olives
- poached eggs
- butter
- spices
- flavored salt
- pears
- berries
- nuts
- honey
- dried apricots
Ingredients:
- flattened oatmeal - 90 g
- water - 400 ml
- Parmesan cheese - 50 g
- salt - to taste
- butter - to taste
- sun-dried tomatoes
Method of preparation:
1. Pour water over oatmeal, add a pinch of salt and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
2. Grate Parmesan finely, add most of the porridge and cook for another 5 minutes.
3. If desired, add butter, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and add sun-dried tomatoes.
