Tasty and flavorful oatmeal cookies with chocolate: how to cook to make them soft

Oatmeal cookies are a familiar dish to everyone since childhood. However, it has reached a new level because it is now possible to add modern food products, which have made its taste only better.

A food blogger with the nickname vika_tolokova23 told us how to make flavorful and soft oatmeal cookies that will fill the kitchen with an incredible aroma. She posted the recipe for this dessert on Instagram.

Ingredients

  • soft butter - 100 gr
  • sugar - 110 gr
  • egg - 1 pc
  • flour - 110 g
  • oat flour - 120 g
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • chocolate, dried fruits, nuts - to taste

Method of preparation

1. Add sugar to butter (you can mix 50/50 brown and regular). Beat with a mixer.

2. Add egg at room temperature. Stir to combine.

3. Add sifted flour, oat flour, baking powder and chocolate, dried fruit, or nuts as desired. Knead the dough.

4. Divide the dough into small balls, place on a baking sheet covered with parchment, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
