How to store greens so that they do not rot: two best ways
Usually, fresh herbs don't last long even in the refrigerator. In a few days, the same parsley or dill loses its freshness and flavor and becomes unfit for human consumption. Sometimes it even begins to rot.
The FoodOboz editorial team will share with you two of the easiest ways to keep your herbs fresh for longer.
First method
For this method, you will need a clean kitchen towel. It needs to be soaked and thoroughly wrung out of the water so that it is damp. Next, you need to put the greens on the side of the fabric and wrap them in a roll. If the roots of the herbs peek out from under the towel, they should be wrapped in a plastic bag.
Greens should be stored in this form in the refrigerator, preferably in a separate box for fruits and vegetables.
Second method
For the next method, you will need a deep glass container. It should be partially filled with water. Put the herbs inside, and put a plastic bag over the container. Store the herbs in this form on a shelf in the refrigerator.
