Delicious meat bread with apricot jam: sharing a recipe for an unusual dish
If you want to cook an unusual dish with meat, the best option is meat bread. The basis of the dish is minced meat, bread, onions and spices.
The FoodOboz editorial team has chosen a simple recipe for a very satisfying and unusual meat bread made from two types of minced meat with a sweet apricot jam sauce. The recipe was published on the YouTube channel of Natalia Mashkina (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
- minced meat - 900-1000 g (600 g of pork and 400 g of beef)
- eggs - 1 pc.
- bread crumbs - 1 cup
- milk - 1 cup
- onion - 1/2 pc.
- ketchup - 1/2 cup.
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp.
- ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
- salt - 1 tsp.
For the sauce:
- apricot jam - 2 tbsp. l .
- ketchup - 175 ml
- hot sauce - 1/2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Put two types of minced meat in a bowl.
2. Add the bread crumbs.
3. Pour in the milk.
4. Dice the onion and add it to the mixture.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Add ketchup to the same place.
7. Beat the eggs and pour into the minced meat.
8. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
9. Put the minced meat in a baking dish and put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180°C.
10. Mix the ketchup and apricot jam, brush the top of the "bread", and put it in the oven for a few more minutes.
11. Cut the finished bread, it is best to eat it hot.
