Better than any cake: healthy oatmeal biscuit with berries and cream in 15 minutes
Oatmeal is an ideal cereal not only for making porridge but also for delicious desserts, cookies, and bread. It also goes well with both salty and sweet foods, as well as fresh berries and fruit.
Food blogger Inna Levenets shared a recipe for a delicious and healthy oatmeal and berry biscuit on Instagram.
Ingredients:
For the biscuits :
- oatmeal – 200 g
- baking powder – 1/2 tsp.
- cinnamon – 1 tsp.
- apple sauce – 50 g
- peanut butter 1 tbsp.
- raisins – 50 g
For the topping:
- yogurt
- orange jam
- berries, fruits
Method of preparation:
1. Combine oatmeal, cinnamon, peanut butter, baking powder, and raisins in a bowl, and mix thoroughly.
2. Use your hands to form a cake, but not too thin.
3. Put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and place in a preheated 180 C oven for 15 minutes.
4. Take out the finished biscuit, let it cool completely, and spread the yogurt on top, add a little jam and put fresh berries and fruit.
