If you want to make a delicious and healthy egg dish very quickly, try making shakshouka. For a richer flavor, add vegetables and greens.

Cook Lisa Hlynska shared a recipe for delicious shakshouka with bell peppers, garlic, and tomatoes on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3 small tomatoes
  • salt
  • parsley or cilantro

Method of preparation:

1. Fry finely chopped onion and garlic in vegetable oil, add finely chopped pepper and continue to fry the vegetables for a few more minutes.

2. Blanch the tomatoes. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes for 20-30 seconds, drain them, and then pour cold water over them. Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and chop them finely.

3. Add the prepared tomatoes to the vegetables and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Make small grooves and put the eggs in, season with salt. Continue frying for another 4-5 minutes.

Sprinkle the dish with greens!
