The best of the cinnabons: delicious apple buns with condensed milk
Buns are a delicious, buttery product based on dough and filling. The most important thing when making them is to make good dough. Berries, jam, condensed milk, and apples can be used for the filling.
Cook Olga Matvii has shared a recipe for delicious apple buns on her YouTube channel that will be better than popular cinnabons (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Ingredients:
- Milk - 200 ml
- Flour - 300 g for mixing + 200 g to knead (500 g total)
- Butter - 30 g
- Butter - 30 ml
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.
- Vanilla sugar - 1/2 tsp.
- Salt - 1/4 tsp.
- Dry yeast - 1 tsp.
The filling:
- Apples - 2 pcs.
- Lemon juice - 2-3 tsp.
- Sugar - 3 tbsp. l
- Cinnamon - 2-3 tsp.
- Boiled condensed milk - 200 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the dry ingredients.
2. Heat the butter, add the egg, mix, and pour over the flour. Add the milk and knead the dough.
3. Pour the flour on the table, put the dough on it, and knead well.
4. After that, put it in a bowl, cover it with cling film, and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
5. Put the finished dough on a table greased with vegetable oil, knead it well again, divide it into two parts, and put it in a bowl under the film.
6. Grate the apples on a coarse grater, add sugar and cinnamon, lemon juice, mix, and leave it, then put them on a sieve to drain.
7. Roll out the dough thinly, grease it with boiled condensed milk, put apples on top and roll up the roll, cut it into equal pieces.
8. Put them in a baking dish, cover with cling film, and let them stand for about 30 minutes.
9. Then bake them for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
