Pear and cream cheese galette: extremely delicious and simple to prepare
Pear and cream cheese galette can be a perfect breakfast or snack. It is a tasty, nutritious, and extremely flavorful pastry that will not leave indifferent any lover of an interesting combination of flavors.
Food blogger Natalia Zhuk shared a recipe for a quick galette. On Instagram, she told us which cheese would taste best with pears.
Ingredients
- flour - 200 gr
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- salt - a pinch
- butter - 80 gr
- egg - 1 pc
- cold water (add to the dough if it does not stick together) - 30 ml
Ingredients for the filling
- cream cheese - 250 g
- sugar - 1-3 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- corn starch - 20 g
- egg - 1 pc
- pear - 2 pieces
- almond flakes
Method of preparation
1. Put flour, sugar and a pinch of salt in a blender bowl. Add butter and blend.
2. Put the mixture into a deep bowl, add egg and knead the dough.
3. If the dough does not stick, add 30 ml of water and knead again.
4. Put the finished dough on parchment, sprinkle with flour and roll out.
5. Prepare the filling. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, starch and egg to cream cheese. Mix well and spread on the dough.
6. Peel pears, slice them, and put them on top of cheese.
7. Fold the edges of the dough inward, giving the product the shape of a galette.
8. Brush the dough with egg yolk and bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
