Juicy chicken breast kebabs: sharing a recipe for a one-ingredient marinade
You can make kebabs from any meat and even fish, but it is better to use chicken, as it will make the kebabs very tender. The taste and structure of the kebab depends on the marinade.
Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe for a delicious chicken kebab cooked in a yogurt marinade on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet – 4 pcs.
- Yogurt – 3 tbsp (can be replaced with sour cream 15%-20%)
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Hot pepper – 1/2 tsp.
- Sweet paprika – 2 tsp.
- Dried tomato – 1 tsp.
- Salt – 1/2 tsp (taste the finished mixture)
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces the size of a chicken egg, the meat should be as dry as possible.
2. Marinade: mix yogurt with spices, add oil, and mix first separately from the meat, and then with the meat, marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, if time permits, marinate in the evening.
3. Cook the kebabs on the coals for 12-15 minutes, turning the skewers occasionally.
