Juicy and soft chicken fillet: what to marinate in

Chicken meat is considered dietary and lean. Therefore, it can be somewhat dry during cooking. To make the dish juicy and soft, you should choose the right marinades and sauces. And, at the same time, the ingredients can be absolutely budget-friendly.

The idea of cooking juicy chicken fillet was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian food blogger Valeriy Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy).

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast - 4 pcs
  • shallots - 4 pcs (you can use regular onions)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • ground black pepper - 1/3 tsp
  • apple juice - 250 ml
  • salt - as desired
  • barbecue sauce - 2 tbsp

 

Method of preparation:

1. Marinate the breasts for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator, or overnight.

2. You do not need to salt the fillet - the spices from the BBQ sauce will be enough.

3. Cook on the grill for 12-14 minutes, the temperature is about 200-204 degrees.

4. Make strips for 2 minutes on the presentable side, turning the breasts 90 degrees.
