Cheap and healthy food

In today's environment, not everyone can afford to buy expensive food products. But this is not a problem at all, because they can simply be replaced with the same ones - no less useful, but on a budget.

Nutritionist Olha Dorosh (olhadorosh_) on her Instagram page named a cheaper and safer alternative to expensive food .

Meat is offal (liver, hearts, ventricles). They can be baked, stewed, and made into pates.

Red fish – mackerel, herring.

Seabass, dorado – hake, tilapia, pollock.

Buckwheat, wild rice, amaranth, quinoa – millet, barley and wheat porridge. This also includes legumes such as chickpeas and beans.

Couscous – whole wheat or wheat porridge, oatmeal/flattened.

Tomatoes, cucumbers – fermented vegetables, carrots, beets, cabbage.

Sweet potatoes – potatoes.

Salad greens, mixes, microgreens – wild garlic, green onions.

Olive and linseed oil – any other oil. ⠀

Chia – flax.

Avocado – in this case, it is best to buy a promotional product and take an unripe avocado. The product will ripen on its own at home in 4-5 days. As for the alternative, any other fat products will do.

Rice flour – whole wheat, plain white wheat.

Goji berries, spirulina, chlorophyll – any berries and greens. ⠀

Broccoli – ordinary or purple cabbage.
