How to make lemon sorbet: the easiest recipe
Sorbet is a special kind of ice cream made from fresh or frozen berries. This dessert is healthy and low-calorie because it is based on only natural ingredients.
Food blogger Emiliia Yevtushenko (emiliya.yevtushenko) shared a recipe for lemon sorbet on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- lemons – 2 pcs.
- water – 500 ml
- sugar – 250 g
- whites – 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. First, wash and peel the lemons. Do not throw away the zest.
2. To prepare the syrup, put the zest, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Cool.
3. Meanwhile, squeeze the juice from the lemons and mix it with the cooled strained syrup.
4. Beat the egg whites separately until fluffy and add to the lemon liquid. Stir and pour into the mold. Freeze everything in the freezer.
5. After 1 hour, remove the mass from the freezer, mix with a whisk, and leave it to freeze again. Repeat this procedure about 3-4 times. It's ready!
