How to cook tasty healthy fish meatballs for children: the easiest recipe

Fish is a product that should be in everyone's diet at least 2-3 times a week. You can cook fish in different ways: bake it, salt it, add it to salads, soups, make cutlets and meatballs.

Chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for delicious fish meatballs with tomato sauce, garlic, and cream on Instagram.

Recipe for fish meatballs

Ingredients:

  • pollock fillet - 400 g
  • onion - 75 g
  • hard cheese - 50 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper - to taste

For the sauce:

  • onion - 100 g
  • garlic - 2 cloves.
  • oil - 30 g
  • tomatoes in their own juice - 200 g
  • cream - 40 g
  • salt, pepper and dried herbs - to taste
  • greens for serving

Method of preparation:

1. Remove the bones from the fillet and squeeze out excess moisture through a waffle towel. Pass through a meat grinder.

2. Chop the onion and fry in oil or butter until golden brown.

3. Add the fried onion to the prepared minced fish, add the egg, salt, grated cheese and mix well, you can "beat" the minced fish.

4. Grease your hands with oil and form meatballs.

5. Chop and fry the onion and garlic, add the tomatoes in their own juice, salt, dried herbs, cream and a little water, mix and put the meatballs in the prepared sauce, cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

6. Chop the herbs.

Sprinkle the finished dish with herbs when serving.
