How to cook tasty and healthy fish balls for children: the easiest recipe
Fish is a product that should be in everyone's diet at least 2-3 times a week. You can cook fish in different ways: bake it, salt it, add it to salads, soups, or make cutlets and balls.
Chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for delicious fish balls with tomato sauce, garlic, and cream on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- pollock fillet - 400 g
- onion - 75 g
- hard cheese - 50 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
For the sauce:
- onion - 100 g
- garlic - 2 cloves.
- oil - 30 g
- tomatoes in their own juice - 200 g
- cream - 40 g
- salt, pepper and dried herbs - to taste
- greens for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the bones from the fillet and squeeze out excess moisture with a paper towel. Pass through a meat grinder.
2. Chop onion and fry in oil or butter until golden brown.
3. Add the fried onion to the prepared minced fish, add egg, salt, grated cheese and mix well.
4. Grease your hands with oil and form balls.
5. Chop and fry onion and garlic, add tomatoes in their own juice, salt, dried herbs, cream and a little water. Mix and put the balls in the prepared sauce. Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
6. Chop herbs.
Sprinkle the finished dish with herbs when serving.
