How to cook julienne in a pan: a simple idea
Julienne is an ideal dish both for a festive table and for every day. It can be cooked in tartlets or pots. However, it will be much easier and faster to make julienne in a pan.
The idea of cooking julienne in a frying pan was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iryna (iriska_dimitrova).
Ingredients:
- 300-350 g of chicken fillet
- 350 g of mushrooms
- 3-4 tbsp of oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp of flour
- 150 g of sour cream (15-20% fat)
- 200 ml of cream (20% fat)
- 150-200 g of cheese
- salt/pepper to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut mushrooms into large cubes.
2. Fry in a little oil until golden brown.
3. Cut fillet into cubes or strips and fry until golden brown in a little oil. Add onion and fry for a few more minutes. Add the fried mushrooms and stir.
4. Add flour and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add sour cream, cream, salt and pepper to taste.
5. Stir, cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes over low heat.
6. Sprinkle with grated cheese, cover and leave on low heat for a few more minutes.
