Gelatin-free: delicious strawberry confiture with 2 ingredients in 20 minutes
Strawberries are a delicious and healthy summer berry that is perfect for making flavorful jam, ice cream, pies, marshmallows, smoothies, and lemonades. Experts advise eating it raw, as it is most beneficial. It can also be frozen, but it should be done properly so as not to spoil the healthy product.
The Perlyna Zakarpattya YouTube channel has published a recipe for a delicious and, most importantly, successful strawberry jam that you can easily make at home in just 20 minutes (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
Cook's tip: bring the jam to a boil, cook for another 7 minutes, cool, and repeat three times! Bring to a boil for the last time and pour the hot jam into jars!
Ingredients:
- strawberries – 1 kg
- sugar – 700 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and peel the strawberries from the leaves.
2. Put them in a bowl, cover with sugar, mix gently, and let stand for several hours to let the berries release their juice and the sugar dissolve completely.
3. Pour the berries into a saucepan or stewpan, bring to a boil, and cook for 7 minutes, then cool and do it 2 more times!
4. Pour the finished jam hot into sterile jars and close the lids.
The strawberries in the jam will be whole, and the jam itself will be thick, flavorful, and delicious!
