If you're a fan of the "Broken Glass" dessert, but you don't have sour cream in the fridge at the right time, don't worry. The solution is very simple: replace it with other equally delicious ingredients.

Blogger Yana Stanishevska shared a recipe for an unusual jelly on her Instagram page. According to her, this method of making the dessert can be rated 0 out of 10 points in terms of complexity.

''Broken Glass'' jelly.


  • 6 packs of jelly (preferably of different flavors and colors)
  • 0.7 liters of milk (instead of sour cream)
  • 100 ml of condensed milk
  • 20 g of dry gelatin

Method of preparation:

1. Make colored jelly as written on the package and refrigerate for two hours.

2. When it has frozen, mix the milk with condensed milk and add gelatin (dissolve in 50 ml of hot milk and simply add to the main milk).

3. Pour a little milk jelly into the mold and add the colored jelly randomly cut into pieces, pour a little more milk jelly and colored jelly again. Make as many layers as the size of the mold and the amount of milk jelly allows.

4. Decorate the top with the remaining colored jelly.

5. Put it in the fridge for a few hours, or preferably overnight.
