Vyacheslav Uzelkov's ex-wife addresses Ukrainians after his funeral
After the funeral of Ukrainian boxer Vyacheslav Uzelkov, whose life was cut short on November 9, his ex-wife Maryna Borzhemska got in touch for the first time. The fitness trainer addressed her subscribers, thanking them for all the words, both positive and negative, that she had received during a difficult period.
The post was published on her Instagram page. She noted that she now plans to focus as much as possible on protecting her children, Robert and Olivia, from all criticism and cruelty.
"Thank you all for your support, for every word and comment, both positive and critical. We are all different, and it is in this diversity that we are special. Sometimes it is easy to judge others without knowing all the details. I am especially surprised by comments from people I have not even met, but who claim to know me well. Each of us has our own truth, our own vision, and experiences that shape our beliefs. This is normal because our life stories are written from childhood and consist of the influence of parents, relatives, society, and environment," the fitness trainer wrote.
According to Maryna Borzhemska, each person chooses his or her own life path. However, in her opinion, regardless of the people or obstacles that come up, the greatest attention should be paid to children. The fitness trainer noted that the younger generation will create the atmosphere in families and the whole country, so no evil should appear in their hearts.
"Over the years, I have learned to protect myself from negativity, realizing that every word reflects the inner world of the person who says it. But my children are not yet ready for this. They are lucky to have me and people who will always stand up for them to prevent other people's words from sowing seeds of cruelty or hatred in their hearts," the woman said.
Additionally, in her Stories, Maryna Borzhemska sincerely thanked each subscriber for their support. She admitted that without the kind words, it would have been much harder to deal with the loss of her ex-husband.
On November 9, former WBA Intercontinental, IBO International, and WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight champion Vyacheslav Uzelkov died at the age of 46. The tragic news was reported on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation.
The athlete had serious health problems, so in the spring of this year, he underwent a complex heart surgery. After the surgery, Uzelkov's condition began to improve markedly, but he was not able to recover. The boxer suddenly had a blood clot.
On November 11, a funeral ceremony for the famous athlete took place in Vinnytsia. The funeral was attended by Vyacheslav Uzelkov's family and friends, including his ex-wife Marina Borzhemska and their children Robert and Olivia.
