Prince William in a business suit played rugby with African children. The funniest photos

Prince William played rugby with African children in a business suit

During a charity event, British Prince William could not contain himself and played rugby with African children, even without taking off his business suit. The Prince of Wales joined the group of high school teenagers by chance after several official meetings.

He was joined at the stadium by South African rugby legends Tendai Mtawarira and Joel Stransky. According to the Daily Mail, after the future king saw the ball and began to approach him, Stransky tried to stop the royal by grabbing his arm and pulling off his jacket.

"It was an accident. We were doing a drill and it just happened, instinct took over, I guess. It's always an instinct when there's a player around, it's supposed to be like that! I just thought afterwards: "Oh no, I've got the prince". But he's a great guy, very humble. He was so sincere. And I think he enjoyed it, to be honest. I think in his role he would like to get on stage and do more things like that. He thanked me for taking part," the rugby player admitted.

The athlete shared his impressions of playing with the Prince of Wales. He noticed that the royal was nervous at the beginning, but later he got into the game. According to Joel Stransky, he communicated well with children and showed them a different side of himself.

"I was very happy to be asked to participate in such a special event. William's presence here would have meant nothing if he hadn't been as genuine as he was with these children. He was fantastic. He talked to every single one of them, asked them questions, was really involved. Obviously, he has experience in this, but I think these kids will look at him in a different light. He was a person who was so interesting, so inspiring with them, he encouraged them to be the best they could be," he summarized.
