"Meanwhile, children in Europe and the United States are calmly preparing for school." Ukrainian celebrities react sharply to the September 2 explosions in Kyiv

Ukrainian stars react to Russia's combined attack on the capital

On the morning of September 2, the aggressor country Russia once again launched a combined attack on Kyiv, using various types of missiles and a Shahed attack drone. Ukrainian showbiz stars did not ignore the enemy's latest terror, noting that children had to spend the beginning of the first school day in shelters.

Some celebrities confidently emphasized that despite all the actions of the Russians, our fellow citizens continue to live and develop, while others did not choose their words and openly scolded their neighbors. OBOZ.UA collected reactions of famous artists who commented on the Russian shelling.

Kateryna Osadcha

Ukrainian TV presenter Kateryna Osadcha followed the "two walls" rule. The journalist shared a morning photo on her Instagram, which shows her and her son in the bathroom until the air raid was over.

Volodymyr Dantes

The popular singer reacted to the turbulent morning in the capital, noting that the citizens of our country once again have to wake up to explosions. Volodymyr Dantes noticed an interesting feature of Ukrainians: after the horrific shelling, we learned to smile at each other again and continue to live. The artist called on his fellow citizens to express their condolences to those who suffered as a result of the enemy's terrorist actions.

Andriy Bednyakov

Famous TV presenter Andriy Bednyakov wrote on social media that the beginning of the school year for Ukrainian schoolchildren is filled with fear rather than joy because of the terrorist country: "Monday. September 2. The first day of school. Instead of hugging friends with smiles on their faces, children will be shaking from the morning explosions of Russian missiles."

Hryhoriy and Khrystyna Reshetnyk

The Reshetniks posted on Instagram that they and their children met Monday morning in the parking lot of their building. They emphasized that for a million Ukrainian schoolchildren, today began in shelters.

"It's the Day of Knowledge. Of course, what else can a grieving neighbor come up with but shelling the night before," wrote Kristina Reshetnik.

For his part, Hryhoriy noted that foreign politicians should pay attention to the terrible morning of Ukrainian children and make decisions on military aid more quickly.

Monroe

Ukrainian actress and travesty diva Monroe reacted with some irony to the rocket attack on Kyiv: "If there is a f*ck-up, it comes in all directions. This is an unproven law of the universe. But as long as we are alive, it's not f*ck, it's experience."

Dmytro Monatik and Lesya Nikitiuk

Some stars were not too verbose in their reactions to the shelling. Singer and dancer MONATIK left a short message on social media: "Very loud. Kyiv, hold on". For her part, TV presenter Lesya Nikitiuk did not hold back her emotions, describing the September morning using foul language: "F*cking Kyiv".

Ilona Hvozdeva

Ukrainian dancer Ilona Hvozdeva reacted to the "noisy" morning in the capital, calling on Ukrainians to join the military training camps so that they can best repel enemy attacks: "I hope everyone is safe! Monday was a loud one! Take care of yourself and keep helping our guys to shoot down all this sh*t."

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Andriy Shevchenko sang together for the military on Independence Day.
