Ksenia Mishyna, TV presenter of the show "I Love Ukraine," an actress, refused to comment to a journalist about the Russian language and her mother in Crimea. It was about the star's Russian-language interview with fitness trainer Sergey Pilkevich, which was recorded in Bali in the spring of 2024.

After the video was posted online, many Ukrainians criticized the celebrity. In a conversation with the interviewer of Morning in the Big City on ICTV, Mishyna reacted sharply to the question about the scandalous podcast. "We're not going to talk about it. Seriously, do you want to talk about it?" the host was indignant and left the frame.

After the hate caused by the star's monologue in Russian, which she posted on her Instagram page, the actress closed the comments under the post. In 2022, Mishyna raised the language issue on social media. "If you are a Russian-speaking Ukrainian, are you no longer a Ukrainian? I feel anger and indignation towards people who divide us at such a time. If you have half of your life in Russian, it does not mean that you are not worthy of a basic service," the Ukrainian woman wrote in her story.

As you know, Mishyna's parents, who are from Sevastopol, live in the occupied Crimea. According to the host, the family refused to leave their home after the arrival of the Russian occupiers. Currently, the family is meeting on "neutral territory", planning a joint vacation in Turkey and Israel.
