According to Harper's Bazaar, Kensington Palace said that Their Highnesses wanted to support the locals after the July 29 incident. They wanted to see firsthand how the residents of the community have come together to rebuild the city.

During her first public appearance after completing chemotherapy, Kate Middleton met with firefighters, ambulance workers, and police officers from Southport. Representatives of Kensington Palace talked to people to find out how they survived the tragic event. In addition, the Prince and Princess of Wales personally visited families who lost children in the attack.

Despite a long break from public life, Kate Middleton hasn't changed her style habits. Her Highness came out in a discreet burgundy polka-dot dress with a bow on the collar. The Princess of Wales added an autumnal mood with a chocolate coat.

For his part, Prince William preferred an image whose shades echoed his wife's outfit. The eldest son of Charles III went out in a gray suit and a burgundy sweater over a white shirt.
