"It's scary to live with this": Oksana Bilozir talks about the burden of Povaliy and Lorak, which Ukrainians do not think about

Oksana Bilozir talks about the burden of Povaliy and Lorak

People's Artist of Ukraine Oksana Bilozir spoke out about the traitorous singers Ani Lorak and Taisiya Povaliy, who actively support the Putin regime. According to the public figure, by choosing a pro-Russian position, the performers took on a burden that few people think about: they cannot return to their native land.

The celebrity spoke about this in an interview with Emma Antoniuk on the YouTube channel Nobody Will Watch This. The singer noted that the propagandists made the choice they thought was best for them.

During the conversation, the host recalled that many artists who are natives of Ukraine but are now active in the Russian Federation used a well-known narrative to justify their actions: "art is out of politics". For her part, Oksana Bilozir explained that this phrase was used in a slightly different context. She noted that the traitorous singers were faced with a choice: to give preference to the position of their people or to the one where you feel comfortable. They decided to choose the second option.

"Everyone has the right to make their own choices. Life goes on. How do you go on living? It is scary when you cannot return to your native land, to your home, to your relatives, to visit graves, or bury your parents. It is very scary to live with this. No one thinks about it. They made a choice, but it's a very heavy burden," the public figure said.

Oksana Bilozir added that she respects the opinions and decisions of absolutely everyone, so she has never tried to change the point of view of the Putinists, although she personally knows Povaliy. The artist added that each person is responsible for their own actions.
