Sharon Stone reveals the name of the producer who forced her to have sex with her co-star for the sake of on-screen chemistry for the first time

Sharon Stone named the producer who forced her to have sex with a colleague

For the first time, world-famous Hollywood actress Sharon Stone has revealed the name of the producer who forced her to have sex with a co-star, and also named the actor with whom she was pushed into an intimate relationship to "improve on-screen chemistry." The 66-year-old star previously spoke about this situation in her 2021 memoir, but did not reveal the identity. Now she said that the producer was Robert Evans, and the actor was Billy (William) Baldwin, brother of Alec Baldwin. Together, they starred in the 1993 erotic film Sliver.

"Sliver" is Stone's next film after the huge success and mega-popularity of last year's hit movie "Basic Instinct". The actress shared the details of the filming on Louis Theroux's podcast, writes the Daily Mail.

"They were expecting me to bring them another giant hit, and they gave me permission to cast, they gave me all these endorsements, but when it came time to work, they told me it was a vanity deal and I couldn't get my endorsements. Then they started blaming me for their own mistakes, even though they were the ones who made terrible mistakes in the way they hired the directors and actors," Stone began.

The celebrity recalled how former actor and then producer Robert Evans called her off the set to his office to offer to sleep with the lead actor, William Baldwin, one of four actor brothers, better known as Billy.

Stone said: "Evans called me into his office. He had these really low 70s and 80s sofas, so I was basically sitting on the floor. And he's running around the office with sunglasses on and explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I have to sleep with Billy Baldwin because that will make his acting better. And we needed Billy to play better, we would have had big problems with that. And if I could sleep with Billy, then we would have chemistry on screen, and if I could just have sex with him, it would save the movie, and the real problem with the movie was me, because I was so stiff and not like a real actress who could just f*ck him and get things back on track. The real problem was that I was so complex."

Hearing these demands, Stone was somewhat irritated and embarrassed, because Evans did not listen to her advice on choosing an actor for the lead role. Now, when the producer was not satisfied with Baldwin's performance, he began to force Sharon to have sex with a co-star in order to improve his acting.

"I didn't need to f*ck Michael Douglas. Michael could come to work and know how to hit the mark, play the role, rehearse and appear on screen. And now I suddenly found myself in a business called 'I have to f*ck people,'" the star said.

According to Sharon, "Sliver" still grossed an impressive $280 million at the box office, although it fell short of the expected results.

The original excerpt from her memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, reads as follows: "The producer brought me to his office, where he had balls of sweet milk under his armpit in a small open-necked milk container. He was walking back and forth in the office, and the balls fell out of the spout and rolled on the wooden floor while he explained to me why I had to f*ck my colleague so that we could have chemistry on screen... Why would you hire an actor who couldn't play a whole scene even at the audition? Now you think that if I fuck him, he will become a great actor? No one is that good in bed. I think they could have just hired a talented actor who could do the scene and remember his lines."

It should be noted that Robert Evans died in 2019. He was also a producer of the films Chinatown and Cotton Club, headed the production of The Godfather, The Italian Job, Die Hard, and The Great Gatsby at Paramount.

As OBOZ.UA wrote earlier, Sharon Stone frankly said that she had suffered a massive stroke that caused serious memory problems. Because of this, the Basic Instinct star lost her movie roles because she simply could not memorize the script.
