The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska admitted that she and her husband, President Volodymyr Zelensky do not live together. She is grieved by the fact that she cannot spend enough time with her favorite person, and her children miss their father very much.

According to the wife of the Ukrainian guarantor, now their family is "disconnected". Revelations she shared in an interview with the BBC.

"My husband and I do not live together, the family is disconnected. We have the opportunity to see each other, but not as often as we would like. My son misses his father. But we remain strong, we have strength both emotionally and physically. And I am sure that we will cope together," Zelenska shared.

She recalled feeling a "constant sense of adrenaline" immediately after the full-scale invasion, but over time she forced herself to calm down and adapt to the new realities. However, it pains the first lady to see that her children - 19-year-old Oleksandra and 10-year-old Kyrylo - also have to live through a brutal and bloody war.

"It pains me to see that my children are not planning anything. At this age, young people... My daughter is 19. They dream of traveling, of new sensations, emotions. She doesn't have that opportunity. There are time constraints in what you can afford, they exist, and we somehow try to live in them," Zelenska commented.

The first lady does not hide the fact that she would like to see in her husband, first of all, a husband and not a "historical face". At the same time, she is convinced that it is Volodymyr Zelensky who has the necessary qualities - strength, stubbornness and energy - that will help her get through this war.

"It may be a little selfish, but I need my husband, not a historical face .... I believe in him. And I support him. I know he has enough strength. For any other person I know, I think this situation would be much more difficult. He's really a very strong and resilient person. And this resilience is what we all need right now," the Ukrainian leader's wife assured.
