The renowned Ukrainian singer MELOVIN revealed that he lost people close to him at the front during the full-scale war. "They will never smile at me again," expressed the artist with pain. Meanwhile, internet users often criticize the star for not enlisting in the Armed Forces. Kostyantyn Bocharov (his real name) does not engage in discussions with critics, but he does explain his position.
MELOVIN shared his thoughts on mobilization and the loss of his relatives in the war during an interview with UNIAN. He emphasized that he is not trying to evade the draft but will not volunteer for the front.
According to the star, he is registered and not hiding anywhere. However, as he put it, he lacks the courage to voluntarily take up arms and go to the war zone.
"Certain authorities are responsible for mobilization, and I am not one of them. I have not falsified anything; I have not bought anything. I am registered. Like others, we are waiting for something, but I don't know what it is. I can't volunteer because I lack the courage. I realize this myself. To go voluntarily, you have to have courage, and I don't have it. So I'm ready to help everyone else," commented MELOVIN.

The performer assures that he will not evade the summons, as he doesn't want to become an outcast in his own country.
"I have the opportunity to do it, but the question is: 'Why?' I'm not hiding anywhere; you can find on the internet where I live. What do I have to be afraid of? I live in my own country," the singer said.
At the same time, the artist suggests that people who insult him about his "non-military status" may be "traumatized". For example, according to the celebrity, they have also lost a loved one at the front and are trying to cope with their grief. However, MELOVIN himself tries to cope with losses without negativity.
"Of course, I have people who are defending Ukraine at the front, and some have already died in fierce battles with the occupiers. They will never smile at me again. That's why when people ask me, 'Why aren't you at the front?' I don't respond. What am I supposed to do? Quarrel with these people in the comments? I don't want to. Maybe it's hard for them too, maybe they lost someone at the front. Everyone is traumatized. You just either treat people positively or drown in your negativity," the musician said.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, MELOVIN disclosed that he suffers from diabetes, which "eats him from the inside." Due to the disease, he lost a lot of weight, spent much time in the hospital, and disappeared from the media space.
