Kate Middleton breaks her own fashion rule for Christmas 2023 to send a message to the world
Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, broke her own rule regarding Christmas outfits. Usually, the Princess of Wales chooses traditional colors, such as red, green, and a checkered pattern.
However, this year, the royal surprised fans with a new snow-white look, The Sun writes. According to fashion expert Amber Graafland, Kate Middleton could convey an important message with this look.
Last year's images of the princess demonstrate her commitment to the traditions and royal spirit of Christmas. The British even consider this choice to be an unspoken rule.
The expert commented: "From December 1, green and red are the main colors of the princess look. Last year's khaki look for Christmas is a perfect example."
According to Graafland, a triumph of quintessential British style, the prince's wife's holiday wardrobe is a winning combination of traditional shades and carefully selected prints. From glamorous dresses and on-trend tiaras at receptions in the palace to comfortable high neck sweaters for decorating the Christmas tree.
This year, however, Kate broke her own rule. "Of course, the princess's use of angelic white can have a much deeper meaning," the expert says. "White symbolizes purity and innocence. It also means a new beginning and a clean slate, allowing you to leave the past behind.
