Singer Taylor Swift has supported Lady Gaga in refuting pregnancy rumors. The day before, Gaga posted a video of herself quoting her colleague's song, captioning it, "not pregnant — just down bad crying at the gym."
Swift quickly defended Gaga, Business Insider writes. "It is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman's body. Gaga doesn't have to explain anything to anyone, just like any woman," the singer wrote on social media.
Taylor Swift condemned the media and urged them not to comment on women's bodies.
The reason for this reaction was the pictures taken by the paparazzi, which show the pop star's rounded belly. The photos fueled speculation that Gaga was expecting her first child with boyfriend Michael Polansky. In response, the star posted a video on TikTok of herself humming Swift's popular song, "I don't have to find the aesthetic, I am the aesthetic".
