In the style of "Wild Dances". Ruslana released a new song and video on her birthday
On the occasion of her 50th birthday, Ukrainian singer Ruslana released a music video and a song called "Buina". The motif of the new composition is energetic and lively. Her main hit "Wild Dances" was written in the same style.
The video was filmed in Ruslana's home studio, which she set up specially for the shoot. It was released on the singer's YouTube channel.
Interestingly, the artist has prepared a whole album that will be bilingual: for Ukrainian and international audiences. Thus, the song "Buina" is also called "Iron Beat".
"This will not be a 'quiet' album. It's music to excite the whole body and voice to an extreme drive," Ruslana explained.
The video was shot using the textures of the Carpathian canyons and a metal beat. With her new collection, the artist decided to tell foreigners about the Ukrainian flavor.
"This clip is dedicated to a new story about the iron rhythm based on the legends of the charykternyky. Kharakternytsia is the mystical practice of the Sich Cossacks, shrouded in legends that tell of the superhuman abilities of our ancestors: a Cossack-kharakternyk is a mythical person who could stand up to an entire army alone," the audience was told.
The text mentions a necklace, which is one of the important elements of the Ukrainian ethnic group. In the video, the necklace was personified by the water that Ruslana pours over herself at the end.
The video has already been viewed by thousands of people who have left over a hundred comments. "This is just wow! The energy is so high that you watch it and jump up and down," the audience said.
