At her solo concert at the Palace of Sports in Kyiv on October 26, singer Olya Polyakova supported the LGBT community in front of thousands of fans and called for tolerance towards such people. She also touched upon the topic of discrimination.

The artist took the stage with an LGBT flag and noted that it is important to support the representatives of this movement. The video was published on the SLAY MUSIC Telegram channel.

"I support people who need support. And the fact that we are so different here, so bright, and at the same time we are united. It is very important to support each other, regardless of gender, religion, or orientation. We are all Ukrainians, and we all have equal rights. Because freedom is not just a word. It is the ability to love, create and breathe freely. And today we are fighting to be free, to be free!" said Olya Polyakova and handed the flag to the fans.

This is not the first time the singer has openly supported LGBT people. On her Instagram, you can find photos from pride events both in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, in June, Olya Polyakova called on MPs to pass two laws: the first one on protection from violence and the second one on allowing queer couples to formalize their relationships.

"A year ago, I was at the world's largest Pride event in London. Together with other like-minded people, we represented Ukraine, talked about support and the war. It's a pity that not all the truly worthy representatives of the community could go this year. But we can still do something that will bring us closer to the European community, our friends and main allies," she explained.

Olya Polyakova does not hide the fact that she supports all people belonging to the LGBT community. She says, "everyone should have the opportunity to live and love freely."
