Cropped hands: a hidden detail spotted in Prince George's portrait for his 11th birthday

A hidden detail was spotted in Prince George's portrait for his 11th birthday

Continuing the newly established tradition of the British royal family, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a portrait of their son, Prince George, in honor of his 11th birthday. The young monarch looks happy in the published picture, but as it turned out, the original is slightly different from the published version.

The Princess of Wales, who has been interested in photography for a long time, took a festive image for her son on her own, Hello writes. The representatives of the monarchs decided to make an official portrait in Windsor.

Prince George is wearing a discreet suit and light shirt. The young royal is sitting on a stone bench, showing a sincere smile and leaning forward slightly. The photo of the 11-year-old monarch is presented to the public in black and white, although previously, the Prince and Princess of Wales published only color versions.

The peculiarity of the official portrait is that the hands of the royal family representative were cropped despite the fact that they were fully depicted in the original. The reason for this decision was a small friendship bracelet that Prince George wears on his left wrist. Members of Kensington Palace did not mention the person who gave the prince this gift in order not to reveal details of his personal life.

Kate Middleton and Prince William published a photo of their offspring directly on their social networks rather than giving it to the press under embargo, as was traditionally the case.
