Chester Bennington's son slams Linkin Park over new vocalist: why he does not like Emily Armstrong

Jamie Bennington, the son of Chester Bennington, the late frontman of the American rock band Linkin Park, who died in 2017 as a result of suicide, criticized his father's former colleagues over the new vocalist. According to Variety, on his Instagram, the 28-year-old man expressed a negative attitude toward the new band's lineup. He noted that in this way Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda "quietly erased his father's life and legacy in real time."

On social media, the late vocalist's son recalled that Emily Armstrong supported her friend, actor Danny Masterson, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping two women. As a representative of the Church of Scientology, the star of the movie The Ranch repeatedly committed sexual crimes against other female parishioners. At first, the actor began to lose roles in popular films, and later was arrested by the Los Angeles Supreme Court.

"People aren’t having a difficult time wrapping their head around the prospect of Linkin Park reinventing itself. The new vocalist of a rock band attended only one hearing in her friend's case, after which she refused to help him.
