American singer Britney Spears has announced that she married herself. The artist posted a video of herself dancing in a satin cream dress and veil, adding that it was her best decision.
"The day I married myself... I remember it because it may sound stupid, but I think it's the most brilliant thing I've ever done!" she said on her Instagram page. It is not known when and how Britney celebrated this unusual union, but last year she divorced her 30-year-old ex-husband Hesam Asghari.
The couple has been together since 2016, married for over a year. The reason for the divorce was Spears' accusation of infidelity by her ex-boyfriend. The couple had no children together. After the divorce, Britney raised concerns about her erratic behavior on social media.
In one of her posts, she directly addressed the topic of divorce, writing: "As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together... 6 years is a long time to be with someone, so I'm a little shocked, but... I'm not here to explain why, because it's honestly no one's business!" Despite this, the star noted that it is difficult for her to "endure this pain" and "pretend to be strong."
