Ukraine has proved to the world that it is an indestructible and powerful state that is fighting purposefully and courageously for its freedom. And in this battle against Russian aggression it is supported by the entire civilized world. Proof is the repeated visits of world leaders and Hollywood stars.

Angelina Jolie
American actress, photo-model, director and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie secretly came to Lviv on April 30, 2022 at the invitation of the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak. She visited children in a boarding school and later met with children from the Harmony Educational and Rehabilitation Center.
Jolie has supported Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. She systematically publishes posts on her social networks calling for help for Ukrainians and opening fundraisers.
2 Ben Stiller
American film and TV actor, comedian, producer, director and screenwriter Ben Stiller visited Ukraine at the end of June 2022. The celebrity visited Irpen and Makarov, as well as personally saw the head of state. Then Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in Telegram: "Ukrainians feel the support of the whole world, many famous people. And Ben Stiller's visit once again confirms this... We appreciate that in this difficult time for our country you are there for us."
The actor came as a UN goodwill ambassador, and then in social networks he expressed solidarity with those people who were forced to leave their homes as a result of the Russian invasion.
3. Jessica Chastain
American theater, film and television actress Jessica Chastain personally visited Ukraine on August 7, 2022. The star visited the Okhmatdit Children's Hospital and the PinchukArtCenter. She also met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak. Later, the actress saw with her own eyes the consequences of the Russian occupiers' atrocities in the Kyiv region.
Upon returning home, Chastain wrote on Instagram, "It took me a few weeks to digest everything I saw in Kyiv...". And she added that there is an ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine: "We cannot forget the innocent victims of senseless acts of violence. I will always be grateful that I met these sweet little children with big brave hearts."
4. Jack Gleeson
The Irish actor known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon in the HBO series "Game of Thrones," Jack Gleeson also supported Ukraine. He arrived in Kiev in February 2023, and together with his friends brought a pickup truck, which was purchased for the AFU by British volunteers.
The celebrity met with Ukrainian actors and journalists at the Young Spectator Theater and held a master class for his colleagues. He also auctioned a statuette of his character Joffrey Baratheon for charity on Prozorro. The proceeds from the sale were used to purchase a thermal imager for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
5. Sean Penn
When Russia launched a full-scale invasion, American actor and filmmaker Sean Penn was in Kyiv. He arrived in the capital on February 23, 2022, to work on a documentary about the war in eastern Ukraine. A few days later, on February 28, he left the country - he crossed the border into Poland on foot.
In late March, Sean Penn arrived in the Lviv region to help Ukrainian refugees. At the same time, he visited the de-occupied Bucha and Irpen to see with his own eyes the terrible destruction caused by the occupiers.
In November 2022, the director came to the capital for the third time. He brought his Oscar statuette and gave it to the President as a symbol of faith in the victory of Ukraine.
