Prince Louis, 5, annoyed Kate Middleton with his antics during church service: what he did
On December 8, British Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton and their three children attended the Together for Christmas service at Westminster Abbey. The two older children - Princess Charlotte and Prince George - behaved with restraint, while 5-year-old Louis had as much fun as he could, which irritated his mother.
While the family was participating in the church service, the youngest duke's attention was drawn to his sister's candle. As the editors of the Today newspaper noted, Kate Middleton could not contain her indignant look.
The young prince, instead of politely standing for the service, began to blow out Princess Charlotte's candle, which the paparazzi managed to capture. The dissatisfied face of the Princess of Wales, who was watching, was also caught in the lens.
According to etiquette, Kate Middleton couldn't make a comment to her son in public during a carol service, but she couldn't hide her slightly scrunched-up face when the youngest member of the family started his prank.
After the official part, the children ran to throw their letters into the box. This year, they sent Christmas greetings not to Santa, but to other children who have difficulties for some reason.
This was the first event of its kind that little Louis had been taken to, so the paparazzi's attention was focused on the prince. He didn't disappoint his fans: he did a lot of grimacing, running around, and entertaining his brother and sister.
This year's event was focused on children. Princess Beatrice brought her stepson Christopher Woolf, as well as the two daughters of Queen Elizabeth II's first grandson Peter Phillips, Savannah and Isla. Lord Frederick Windsor and Sophie Winkleman also brought their children.
According to the palace representatives, the concert was organized to "thank everyone who works to support babies, young children and families in communities across the UK."
