MARUV (Anna Borisovna Korsun) is a scandalous Ukrainian singer.
A brief biography
Anna Korsun was born February 15, 1992 in the town of Pavlograd in Dnepropetrovsk region.
From an early age she was engaged in both dancing and singing. At the age of fourteen she went on her first tour with the group "Lik".
In 2013, she formed a band called "The Pringlez", which earned fame with covers of popular hits of the time, and took her stage name MARUV.
She graduated from Kharkov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "radiophysics and electronics" in 2014.
In 2017 MARUV together with the band moved to Kiev, changed the name and direction of the band, as well as almost completely renewed the composition of the team - only the bassist and Korsun herself remained from the old band.
The first author's album " Stories" was released by MARUV in 2017.
In 2018, MARUV presented their first music video, filmed for the song "DRUNK GROOVE".
Personal life
MARUV is married. MARUV's husband is Alexander Korsunov, PR manager of the project. MARUV has no children.

Eurovision scandal.
In 2019, after singer Tayanna refused to participate in the National Selection for Eurovision 2019, MARUV decided to take her place.
However, after winning the National Selection, MARUV started having problems due to the fact that she was touring in Russia with her concerts.
In addition, MARUV could not directly call the war in Donbass Russian aggression, avoiding questions from journalists.
It should also be noted that the right holder of the song "Siren Song", with which MARUV was going to perform at Eurovision, is a recording company from the Russian Federation, "Warner Music Russia".
Given all this, the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine (aka NOTU) denied MARUV the right to participate in Eurovision.
Shortly afterwards, the second and third place winners of the National Selection also refused to represent their country at the song contest, as a result of which Ukraine does not participate in Eurovision 2019.
Soon after, despite their statements, MARUV gave a concert in Moscow. Just a week later, MARUV also gave a concert in St. Petersburg.
Dancing with the Stars
MARUV became a participant of the new season of the show "Dancing with the Stars" on the TV channel "1+1" in 2019.
