Under attack were warehouses with CABs: SSU drones attacked Russian military airfield "Borisoglebsk"

SSU drones attack Russian military airfield "Borisoglebsk"

On the night of October 3, Ukrainian drones massively attacked the Russian military airfield "Borisoglebsk" in the Voronezh region. The drones targeted warehouses with guided aerial bombs, which Russians regularly use to terrorize Ukrainians.

Also under attack by UAVs were parking lots of SU-35 and SU-34 aircraft and aviation fuel storage facilities. This was reported to OBOZ.UA by sources in the SSU.

According to the source, at night, drones of the SSU, as well as the SOF and other defense forces, attacked military infrastructure at the "Borisoglebsk" airfield. The Ukrainian defenders attacked warehouses with cockpits, aircraft parking lots, and aviation fuel storage facilities. It is worth noting that Putin's troops are actively bombing Ukrainian territory from this airfield.

It is noteworthy that at night, citizens of the Russian aggressor country complained about the operation of air defense systems and the flight of a large number of drones. Russian publics also reported powerful explosions and a fire near the airfield. At the same time, satellite monitoring recorded four fires on the territory of "Borisoglebsk."

"The SSU continues to take active measures to reduce the enemy's ability to terrorize peaceful Ukrainian cities with fighter jets with CABs. The demilitarization of Russian military airfields will continue because the enemy should not feel at ease even on its territory," said an informed source in the SSU.

As a reminder, on the night of October 3, powerful explosions occurred in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. Residents said that the region was massively attacked by Ukrainian drones.

Also on the morning of October 3, the airports in Kazan and Nizhnekamsk (Russia) temporarily suspended operations to "ensure the safety of civilian aircraft." Federal Air Transport Agency did not give an official reason, but Russian citizens complained about the drone attacks.
