Soldiers of the 47th Independent Mechanized Brigade raised the blue-and-yellow symbol of independence and sovereignty on Ukraine's National Flag Day over the village of Robotyne, Tokmak district, Zaporizhzhia region. This is one of the hottest areas of the counteroffensive, but this gesture sends a clear signal to both the occupiers and the Ukrainians: Robotyne is Ukraine!
The solemn moment was filmed from a drone and published on the Telegram channel of the 47th brigade. The flag was signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valeriy Zaluzhny himself (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
"It will be everywhere! Let's drive the invaders out of our land, rebuild under peaceful skies and imprint the heroism of our servicemen forever," the defenders signed the video, in which the Ukrainian flag is placed on a school that barely survived massive Russian artillery and missile attacks.
There is fierce fighting in the Tokmak district and Robotyne itself. However, the Deep State interactive map, which has become a reference point on the military situation for millions of users, has moved the village of Zaporizhzhia to the blue zone, namely to the section of liberated territories of Ukraine.
Looking at today's drone footage, it is obvious that this is quite justified and fair. Robotino is and will be Ukraine!
President Zelensky congratulated the Ukrainian nation on the Day of the National Flag. He pointed out that it was not just a national symbolism, but an amulet of the people, its strength and pride.
