Air Defense Forces destroyed a number of Russian attack UAVs
On the night of February 25, Ukraine's Air Defense Forces repelled another Russian attack that consisted of Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. The defenders destroyed 16 out of 18 enemy targets in the number of regions.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is known that in the south, air defense units also destroyed two Russian missiles over the sea.
According to the military, the enemy attacked with 18 attack UAVs from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, as well anti-aircraft missile units and aviation of the Air Force shot down 16 drones in Poltava, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
According to the Southern Defense Forces, Air Defense units shot down three targets in the Mykolaiv region, two in Kropyvnytskyi region, and one in Kherson region within their area of responsibility.
