Russia used missiles received from DPRK against Ukraine at least 9 times - US at UN

Russia fired at Ukraine with Korean missiles 9 times

The terrorist state Russia has launched ballistic missiles against Ukraine, which it received from the DPRK, at least 9 times. Both countries must be punished.

This was stated at a meeting of the Security Council by Robert Wood, Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations. He emphasized that by their actions, these states undermine long-term commitments under UN Security Council resolutions.

"These illicit arms transfers and potential technology transfers from Russia to the DPRK undermine regional stability and the global nonproliferation regime, as well as the credibility of the Security Council," Wood said.

He called the Russian Federation the only aggressor in the world and expressed his belief that only Moscow can stop the war. The US Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations also noted that although Kremlin dictator Putin is not interested in ending the war, Ukraine continues to seek ways to a just peace.

As a reminder, a handwritten Korean symbol was found on a missile launched by the occupiers at Kharkiv during a massive attack on January 2, 2024. Experts have suggested that the aggressor country received these weapons from North Korea.

Earlier, the White House said that the DPRK had provided Russia with several dozen ballistic missiles, some of which the terrorist state used to hit Ukrainian targets in late December and early January.
