Poland demands explanations from Russia over "intrusion" of missile that Poles did not want to shoot down

Poland has demanded that the terrorist country Russia explain why its missile flew into Polish airspace during the massive shelling of Ukraine. Polish officials also asked Moscow to stop terrorist attacks.

This is a cruise missile that stayed in Polish airspace for 39 seconds on the morning of March 24. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

The diplomatic agency called on the Russian Federation to stop terrorist attacks on the residents and territory of Ukraine, put an end to the war and address the country's internal problems.

The Polish Foreign Ministry also expressed condolences to the victims of the Russian bombing and their families. In addition, the ministry said it condemns all forms of terrorism and attempts to revise borders by force.

According to Radio Svoboda, the cruise missile flew 2 kilometers into the interior of Poland. Advisor to the Minister of Defense Mieczyslaw Beneck said that Poland activated its defense system after reports of a massive missile attack in the Lviv region.

Because of the Russian attack, four F-16 fighter jets were scrambled - two Polish and two American. The Ministry of Defense also said that the pilots could have shot down the Russian missile if it had flown deeper and threatened Poland's security.

On the morning of March 24, during a massive attack on Ukraine, a Russian missile entered Polish airspace. The object entered Polish space near the town of Ocerdów. The Russian terrorists' missile was spotted in the sky over Poland at 4:32 am.

Earlier it was reported that on December 29, 2023, in the midst of a massive Russian air attack on Ukraine, an unknown object also flew into Polish airspace. Later, the Polish General Staff stated that it was a Russian missile.
