Occupants attacked Odesa region with drones at night: a logistics and transportation facility and a gas station damaged
Russian occupation forces attacked Odesa region during a drone attack on the night of April 8. A logistics and transportation facility was hit near the regional center.
The debris of the downed enemy target also damaged a gas station. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces.
"Unfortunately, there were hits in Odesa district. A logistics and transportation facility was damaged. The consequences are being clarified," the military said.
Also in the same area, fragments of a drone that fell after it was shot down damaged a gas station. No people were injured.
It is noted that last night, Russian terrorists once again sent several waves of Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs to the southern regions of Ukraine. The enemy targeted critical infrastructure.
The Office of the Prosecutor General stated that a pre-trial investigation was launched into the nighttime attack on the infrastructure of Odesa region under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war). At the sites of the attack, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.
The intense combat work of the Air Defense Forces in the south lasted about three hours. In their operational area, the defenders of the sky shot down seven drones: four in Odesa region, two in Mykolaiv region and one in Kirovohrad region. In total, during the attack, the air defense forces neutralized 17 of the 24 Shaheds.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the evening of April 6, Russian troops fired an Iskander-M ballistic missile at Odesa. A fire broke out at the site of the hit, several buildings of the port infrastructure facility were damaged and a woman was injured.
