In Lutsk, a multi-storey building was damaged in an enemy attack, one person was injured

On the morning of August 26, the terrorist state of Russia attacked an infrastructure facility in Lutsk, Volyn region. One person was killed as a result of the aggressor's actions.

In addition, a high-rise building in the regional center was damaged during a drone attack, Mayor Ihor Polishchuk said on his official Telegram channel.

"Air defense is working. Please stay in the shelters," he wrote at 08:23, and then added that he was already at the scene under the damaged building.

The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Pogulyayko, clarified that this was the result of the fall of the wreckage of a Russian drone shot down by air defense forces.

At about 08:55, another explosion was heard in the city. Later, the mayor reported that an infrastructure facility had been damaged.

"There is currently information about one dead person," said Polishchuk.
