Valuev speaks about sanctions

Former world heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev has concluded that Russian athletes will be barred from the Olympic Games for a long time. The State Duma deputy noted that the representatives of the aggressor country "have been dealt with seriously and for a long time."

Valuev said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency RIA Novosti. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime and an accomplice in Russia's crimes against Ukraine added that Russia will create alternatives to major international tournaments.

"The Olympic movement is a closed topic for Russia soon. Most likely, we can create something within interstate associations that will be attractive to athletes from countries that are forced to comply with political regulations. Of course, this is scary. In general, the Olympics will become a closed sporting institution for Russians and, possibly, Belarusians. This is not a quick process. We are being fought seriously and for a long time," Valuev said.

In June, Russia hosted the BRICS Games, which were memorable for the fact that many tournaments featured one or two athletes, and Russia entered 20 fake teams in the competition.
