"He should listen to Putin": Russian Olympic champion demands Macron to stop supporting Ukraine

The head of the Russian Wrestling Federation, Mikhail Mamiashvili, demands that Ukraine's allies cease fire "not only for the duration of the Olympics" and, accordingly, stop supporting our country. The winner of the '88 Games in Seoul, with the disdain and threats typical of aggressors, called on Europeans to listen to dictator Vladimir Putin.

Mamiashvili said this in a commentary to Sport24. The Kremlin regime's henchman tried to ridicule French President Emmanuel Macron, who came up with the idea of an Olympic truce. At the same time, the Russian did not mention that Russia invaded Ukraine two days after the end of the 2022 Olympics.

"I think a ceasefire for the Olympics is possible. They just need to listen to what the Russian president is telling them. And not only for the duration of the Olympics, it will work. What do you mean for the duration of the Olympics? Let them listen, and many conflicts will stop in general. That's all. I don't know if the conflict will stop this summer during the Games. Maybe it will. It turns out, as recent months have shown, that the head of France is our center of the universe. He should listen better to what our president says, and everything will be fine," Mamiashvili said.

Earlier, Macron expressed confidence that Russia will do its best to influence the organization and holding of the Olympic Games, which will be hosted by Paris this summer.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin hypocritically commented on Macron's call for an Olympic truce. He said that Russia allegedly "wants to build good neighborly relations between the two states," and called Ukraine's traitor Sergey Karyakin "boundless cynicism" to demand that Russia stop killing Ukrainians.
